Recent News - Rushton voted stars of the show at AIRMIC

Rushton International were delighted to be voted Best Exhibition Stand at this year’s AIRMIC Conference in Edinburgh.

It was our first appearance as an exhibitor at this prestigious event so winning this award – which is voted for by AIRMIC members – was a great achievement.

We were represented by five of our people – including chairman Brian Rushton – and our stand featured a cocktail bar complete with a ‘flarer’ juggling bottles and glasses for the entertainment of visitors.

We also raffled a bottle of of 1972 Vintage Glenlivet whisky and distributed a selection of promotional merchandise to increase our profile amongst delegates.

Almost 700 people attended the two-day event including risk managers from some of the world’s largest companies such as Shell, Coca-Cola, BP,BT, De La Rue, GlaxoSmithKline, Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer and Royal Mail.

As well as promoting our specialist insurance valuations service, we were also able to talk about the energy certification work we are providing through our sister company FPS Rushton.

Our next conference appearance is at the Association of Local Authority Risk Managers at the NEC on 29 June – 1 July.
