9 - 5 commute with a difference!
Over the past few weeks we’ve heard various tales of intrepid journeys, battling against all the UK weather could throw at us in our pursuit to get into the office on time. We were therefore quite envious initially when we heard that Richard was going out to the Far East.
Those envious thoughts soon turned to admiration when he informed us that having flown over 6000 miles, followed by a few hours drive, he then got ferried from one oil platform to another and was finally hoisted unceremoniously by a billy pugh (rope basket to the uninitiated!) which, at a height of 51 metres above sea level made any of our efforts seem tame in comparison.
We await the details of the return trip with interest Richard – Bon Voyage!
