Meet the team - Derek Powell

Derek became an Associate Director at Rushton International in 1999, bringing with him over 40 years experience of building valuations. In addition to the UK, Derek has worked throughout the European Union, Middle East and US.

Background

Trained as a quantity surveyor, Derek has specialised in the area of building valuations for insurance purposes since 1990. He prepared claims following the Gulf War and has vast experience of inspecting and claiming for damage under the terms of insurance policies.
