Meet the team - James Kington

Surveyor

James joined Rushton in April 2008 trained to become a Building Valuation Surveyor and Commercial Energy Assessor as part of Rushton’s commercial energy wing, Rushton EPC. James works form the Manchester Office and is part of the Northern Buildings valuation team and the Mining valuation team. James has developed experience undertaking insurance valuations of buildings and contents in both the private and public sector.

Background

James has a is a qualified Home Inspector and Commercial energy assessor and started his career in property managing the part exchange portfolio for a volume house builder he went on to work at a residential valuer s as a home inspector and trainee valuer before joining Rushton International.

Extra

James is a trainee member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is currently studying an MSc in Surveying at the University of Reading and has been enrolled on the APC since April.

James is an Associate member of the Association of Building Engineers.
