Meet the team - Richard Heywood

Surveyor

Richard joined the company in early August 2008 and is qualified to carry out domestic and commercial Energy Performance Certificates for Level 3 & 4 properties. Prior to joining the company he qualified as a Home Inspector and spent his time carrying out Home Condition Reports and Energy Performance Certificates for residential properties.

Richard is based in the Manchester office and has developed experience in undertaking insurance valuations of buildings and contents in both the private and public sector. This ranges from large portfolio work to smaller individual clients.

Background

Richard studied at Nottingham Trent University where he graduated with a BA Hons in Business Studies. Before entering the property industry he was a manager at a leading activity holidays company. In addition to qualifying as Home Inspector and Energy Assessor Richard has also successfully completed the RICS accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying.

Extra

Richard is an Associate Member of the Association of Building Engineers and a trainee member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is currently undertaking his APC and aims to become a Chartered Surveyor in the next two years.
