A well-known brewing company commissioned us to value both its plant and machinery and property. This was a complex job as the portfolio included both used and vacant properties. Some of the buildings were not to be replaced in the event of loss or damage.
Our solution was to provide up to four bases of valuation for each building - reinstatement insurance, indemnity insurance, demolition only and modern equivalent values. This ensured maximum flexibility for the client.
