Business as the new normal

By Rebeccah Dowell, August 18th 2020

We have been working with clients to meet their insurance valuation requirements during these difficult times. It is fair to say that COVID 19 has touched everyone and every business. Working from home has been a forced experience for some people and placed additional strain on companies and their staff.

We have always operated with a mixture of office and homeworkers. Thankfully, our IT and telecoms, using SharePoint & Teams, allowed us to seamlessly work from home with the only additional strain for some staff members being home-schooling and managing client calls!

We have continued to work with clients and completed a multitude of interesting valuation assignments using a mixture of old and new technologies. One example would be valuing a facility utilising drone footage that we arranged for one of our clients. Another example would be using our valuation cost database by inputting client provided data and modelling the replacement values on our database of costs.

Valuing assets from the desk is a tried and trusted valuation methodology that we have utilised over the last few months. More recently we have started to attend site to review assets and collect data. Whether completing valuations nationally or internationally we can help clients and tailor our work to meet their needs.

For further details on how we can help with our valuations solutions please do get in touch with us.
